Have You Tried The "New "Gin?"

Gin is definitely on the "comeback" trail when it comes to the palates of U.S. consumers. From 2005-2006, high end gin purchases increased a whopping 18%! Gin sales totaled nearly 870 million dollars in the U.S. Of course, Vodka sales totaled nearly 5 billion dollars, but still a hefty increase. Experts have noted a dramatic increase in the use of gin in martinis over vodka as compared to the 1990's. So why this increase in popularity for a beverage that has been around for centuries? Probably because there are so many new gins in the marketplace. More about the "new" gin

Choosing A Bar Stool

Howdy! Many of my readers are interested in purchasing bar stools. I frequently get asked what criterion should be used when selecting a bar stool. So hopefully this info will help....

Many home bar owners actually feel as if the selection of barstools is more important than the selection of the bar itself. Needless to say, the proper selection of each is critical to the look and feel of your chosen room. Luckily, there are probably as many bar stools as there are themes. One should always match the bar stools with the theme of the home bar.
If, for example, the theme of your bar is that of a piano bar, more on bar stools here

When the last days of Spring trickle into the beginning of Summer, that's the time to begin planning for a Tiki Bar party. Before we go into how to prepare for your Tiki Bar party, I would like to make a couple of suggestions. First, an outdoor bar party is always more fun around a swimming pool. Luckily, most Tiki Bar owners also own swimming pools. Secondly, because these parties take so much preparation, they are often reserved for special summer events. Events such as your child's graduation, or a family reunion are often appropriate for Tiki Bar parties.
These parties are always For more on this fun party idea
